Cancellations are disgrace

I do wonder what is going on at the eye department at the Royal Gwent Hospital.
My wife was diagnosed with glaucoma in both eyes last year. She has had two appointments and is supposed to have follow-up appointments every six months and every one of those appointments has been cancelled at the last moment. She has phoned to ask why and, as usual, one department blames the other. Personally, I think it’s a disgrace. Perhaps it’s not the doctors’ fault, but I think your eyes should be a priority in any circumstances. Has anyone else had the same problem?
