Parties out, up with blighty

I THOUGHT Nigel Dix’s statement (Sept 11) that Cameron’s reshuffle is like moving the deckchairs on Titanic while ignoring the iceberg was very amusing, but the Labour Party was the iceberg of British politics and everyone who sailed into it went down and sank everyone else with their greed and corruption.

As for Cameron, he couldn’t steer a pedalo, let alone Titanic. It’s time to scrap all political parties and steer clear of Europe to put Blighty back on the map.

It is this sort of anti-politics nonsense that lets cahrismatic individuals with no agenda but their own rise to the top with no one really noticing what they are up to. Germany, Italy, and Russia came to regret this. If you really want change join the party nearest to your views and seek to change the bits you think you can improve on. Alternatively, do nothing except sending holier than thou letters to local papers.
