Any chance of a start date

In the Argus (13.9.12), yet another Newport Council spokesperson tells us that Friars Walk is due to start next year. With the disappointing news that the number of empty shops is rapidly increasing in Newport, why doesn’t the council spokesperson tell us exactly when the new development will start in order to boost the citizens’ confidence? Come on, Newport Council, give us a date!

reading past articles they have to let 60% before they put a shovel in the earth look at the ridiculous amount of empty shops around the town is that likely?? and to be honest unless the rent was very very cheap would you put a shop in that town??
