Any thoughts on Islam?

No regular reader can be in any doubt about Terry Banfield’s views on God, Jesus and Christianity. After all, he has been on about it ad nauseam for the last couple of decades.

How refreshing it would be to hear his views about Islam and Mohammed. Muslims, of course are not famous for turning the other cheek, so best to play the coward, Terry.

I am completely committed to equal treatment so I have no difficulty in treating all religions with equal contempt. Although this point is only ever raised by handwringing christians who claim anyone saying they do not agree with every word they say is victimising them. It is never a genuine enquiry about peoples views on other faiths.

I believe that people ought to recognise that some faiths are relatively mild in nature, whatever their histories might have been in the past.
On the other hand, other religions are very definitely not.
If they are not now, it will come to pass in time and in education, that they will be mellowed, without the shadow of a doubt.
It could possibly be unwise to say more.
So I won't.

Not unwise at all, the Ayatollahs don't tell us what to do, what to read or what to think.... yet. I think we need to monitor very closely what is being said in their Mosques too. Many appear breeding grounds of hatred. Islam isn't an 'mild' religion, it is an fanatical one with its moderates in the minority.

I think all buildings related to any relegion should be closed down.People can pray in their own homes.
Any public show of faith should be banned.
