Cut take-aways and exercise

HAVING read the South Wales Argus on Friday, September 21, I can well believe that Blaenau Gwent has a high number of obese people. A lot of it comes from poor diet eg. McDonald’s, KFC, takeaways and public houses around the area.

People should start getting fit by walking or swimming and there are other ways of keeping the weight off. I enjoy walking. Michael Rose, Nantyglo

Cook your own food....healthier and cheaper. Garlic, ginger, fruit, veg, fish etc etc........and you have the most stunning mountains and countryside around you.....use it!!!! We've become a takeaway society. Slow down and enjoy life.
