I WOULD like to publicly thank our local police service for their response to a recent problem I had. On returning home, my monitored alarm system malfunctioned causing the monitoring station to believe there was an intruder.
Within a few minutes, local keyholders and the police were informed. I immediately rang the alarm company to advise them there was no problem and to request the system be reset. At that moment, police arrived at the front and rear doors. Had there been an intruder, the police response time, I am sure, would have resulted in an arrest and minimised potential damage. The officers only left when they were completely satisfied all was well and they were most courteous. Again, my thanks.
