Full meetings of the Assembly are known as "Plenary sessions" and are held in the Main Chamber of the Assembly Building in Cardiff Bay. They are open to the public and are broadcast on digital channel S4C2. The Assembly usually meets in session twice a week, currently on Tuesday and Wednesday afternoons.

Much important work in the Assembly takes place in committees, an essential part of the Assembly. Committees normally meet in public, although a committee may sometimes go into closed session for a limited period. They usually meet on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, with regional committees being held on a Friday. The length of each session can vary but the video coverage will remain live until the end of each session. The Assembly Timetables give the full details of when and where each committee is being held. To find out what is on, simply click on one of the links above.
