BRAVE great-grandmother Connie Evans told the Argus she feels lucky to be alive after being caught up in the shooting at the Carol-Ann hair salon in Newport's Malpas Road.
The 92-year-old described the moment gunman Darren Williams, 45, burst into the shop to confront his estranged wife, how he shot wife Rachel and how the pensioner was also hit by pellets from the double-barrelled shotgun.
