MALPAS ROAD SHOOTING: Gunman was found hanging - inquest

THE GUNMAN who burst into a Newport hair salon and shot his estranged wife died was found hanging, an inquest heard today.
The body of Darren Williams, 45, from Newport, was found in woodlands known as Brickyard Lane in the city, after a police search hours after he fled Carol-Ann’s hair salon in Malpas Road last Friday.
An inquest into his death was opened and adjourned this morning.
