The St Julian’s Senior Citizens’ Association is now the Orchard Lane Community Centre to avoid confusion with the St Julian’s group, which meets on the estate. The concert on Monday 23rdAugust features the international vocalist, Kathy North.
Refreshments available. All welcome. Charge for non members £2.50. New members over 50 welcomed (£2 a week). Apart from the usual Monday evening concerts, there are Thursday evening Bingo sessions, day trips and different events throughout the year. There are trips to Weston on August 11th and Hereford on 15th September.
There is a luncheon at The Parkway Hotel on 16th September. Every year the club supports a different charity which this year is Help for Heroes.
