WELL over 200 imaginative entries, from flowers to photographs, filled Llantilio Pertholey community hall for the annual show, writes Don Chambers.
Members of the Village Produce Association can all feel proud of themselves for putting on one of the best annual shows since they were started 35 years ago.
In all, 33 competitors displayed 260 entries in classes that included floral art, cut flowers, pot plants, craftwork, cookery and photography. There was a special section for the work of children.
Marion Tucker, show general secretary, said: “This is without doubt the best show for the past two or three years. Some exhibitors have passed on or moved away, but we now have a number of new members who have helped make it even better.”
