The unkind weather was unable to spoil Llantilio Pertholey Village Produce Association's annual show at Mardy hall with fabulous fruit and very nice veg on display.
Every section was well supported by members, show secretary Marion Tucker has reported.
There were more entrants than usual which meant an increase in entries, while the children excelled themselves with some fine exhibits.
Marion said: “It was a shame that more people didn't turn up to see the lovely entries, the result of a lot of hard work by the exhibitors.”
On behalf of the organisers she thanked everyone who helped, especially the ladies in the kitchen who provided lunch for the stewards and judges, who had a difficult job.
