Young music students from Chepstow have achieved success in the summer 2008 Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music theory examinations.
Those passing their exams on this occasion were: Grade One: Alexander Serpell (distinction), Fleur Geridet (distinction), Daisy Geridet (distinction), Sam Spode (merit), Katherine Wall (merit), Harriet Lister (pass) Grade Two: Daisy Taylor (merit) Grade Five: Chloe Franchina (pass). The pass mark for all exams is 66%, with those achieving 80%Â and over gaining a merit and those achieving 90% and over a distinction.
The children all study with Rebecca Fielding, who teaches at Hannah’s Music in town.
