Rob and Scott McHattie, owners of the Priory Nursing Home in Llandogo, have kicked off this year's Mayoral Appeal with a donation of £1,000. Thanking them for their generosity, Mayor Tony Kear said, "During my year in office I'm keen to support organisations where a sum of money will make a real difference to how they are run and don't normally get considered."
Rob McHattie commented, "It is a real pleasure for us to support the Mayor's Appeal. We wish the Mayor great success in his fund raising during his term of office."
Organisations who feel they could benefit from a share of the Mayor's fund should contact the Town Clerk on 01291 673011 before the end of June. The beneficiaries of the fund will be announced after the Mayor's Civic Service on July 6.
