This year's judging for Usk's entry in the Wales in Bloom competition will be on the morning of Monday July 21. As in the past two years the judge will be Mr Jim Goodwin. Usk in Bloom Chairman David Gale said, "Although it's nice to have a judge who now knows Usk well, it is also a great challenge to find fresh ideas and new beds and displays to impress him."
Usk's theme this year has been hot' Mediterranean colours. "I hope we get some hot weather to match, so that Usk really looks its best," said David.
Usk is seeking to retain its title as Best in Wales which is has held for two decades.
