With the weather promising to pick up by the end of the month, a great family afternoon out will be at beautiful Llantarnam Abbey, which is hosting the Annual Barbecue and Summer Fayre in aid of St Anne’s Hospice.
The Fayre is on Saturday August 30, commencing at 2pm, and there really will be fun for all the family, with numerous stalls offering cakes, tous, bric-a-brac and so on, a bouncy castle, dancers, glass painting, a licensed bar, and much, much more.
Ticket, to include a barbecue and salad, are £5 for adults and £3 for children, and the organisers hope as many people as possible will come along to support their local hospice. Tickets can be ordered from St. Anne’s Fundraising Office, on 01633 820281.
