Children from Llanvihangel Crucorney in north east Monmouthshire made the long trip down to Rodney Parade to form the Guard of Honour for the teams as they took to the pitch. They then ran across the pitch to take their seats in anticipation of a local derby between Newport and Cross Keys.
At Half time, they also provided a backdrop for the bullion draw, performed by Newport Hero, Keith Poole.
Unfortunately, injurt hit Newport fell short and took a hiding from Keys although our young guests still spent the whole match loudly cheering the boys on.
