Sixteen year old Ethan asked to be our first mascot of the season and as he was one of the original FoNR representatives, we weren’t going to turn him down. It is pretty rare for Ethan and family not to be present at a match, home or away, so this is a just reward for his loyalty.
Ethan turned up early for a photo opportunity with favourite players Andy Brown, Craig Hill and Dafydd Rosser. Ethan was also joined by brother Alfie for a picture with former Wales Coach, Gareth Jenkins.
The mascot fulfilled his role well as usual but Newport didn’t deliver the expected win. Lets hope they can improve by the time Alfie mascots later in the season.
