The Friends of Newport’s Ornamental Parks held a Nostgalgia Evening at St Julian’s Baptist Church Hall. Paul Bevan showed a cine film of Beechwood Park and House in its hey day in the 1970s, which stirred many happy memories.
John Woods of Newport City Parks gave an outline of what is planned for Beechwood Park.
