A resident of Sutton Road has emailed me about my Hot Lofts piece, so I know at least one person reads the column!
He points out that some of the houses with roofs clear of snow might have had loft conversions.
Fair point, so the challenge is to ensure that the roof is adequately insulated as well as the loft.
The Energy Saving Trust will advise if you ring 0800 512 012. Planning permission and building regulations will ensure adequate insulation.
