St Julian’s Methodist Church always produces a quality magazine. The Easter edition contains many anecdotes and memories of what one writer calls “the late, and very much lamented, Durham Road School”.
There are numerous interesting articles, such as the one on the new stained glass additions to the church windows.
Other topics covered are Donor Cards, Victory Outreach, the Women’s World Day of Prayer, Newport’s sculptures and several others.
Add to that some amusing verses and it all adds up to a thoroughly good read.
