BTCV, GREEN GYM SPRING INTO ACTION: Clive Ward has sent in the following report: 'As our pictures show, the Green Gym had a glorious time at BTCV CYMRU Spring into Action Event at Margam Park, where there were numerous activities that visitors could participate in, from willow weaving and bird box making to building and constructing paths.

Representatives from Blaenau Gwent were able to plant pumpkins in the walled garden, learn about bee keeping and were given a very interesting historical and guided walk by the Friends of Margam Park.

Representatives from the Green Gym and from Roseheyworth Millennium School, key partners on one of our projects, were able to go forward and receive their Wales Award for the work carried out by the Green Gym.

On the second day of this two-day event, the Green Gym were able to join forces with volunteers from the Environment Agency to create paths in the walled garden suitable for wheelchair users.

Currently the Green Gym is hosting a "Tomato Growing Challenge".
