GWENT police is urging people to be vigilant following incidents in the Cwmbran area where people have been pickpocketed.
The incidents have happened when the victims have been shopping.
People are advised to ensure they know where their purses, wallets and personal belongings are at all times and be wary of individuals who are acting suspiciously around them whilst shopping.
If anyone has any information about anyone committing such crimes they are asked to contact Gwent Police on 01633 838111.
