FIRE ESCAPE: The danger of fire was the lesson of the day for shoppers at Sainsbury's in Cwmbran last week.
The supermarket was offering advice and information about fire safety with South Wales Fire and Rescue Service as part of Fire Safety Awareness Week.
Officers from Cwmbran Fire station visited the store throughout the week to speak to customers and promote fire safety.
They were also raising awareness about their home fire safety check scheme and customers who purchased a carbon monoxide detector at the store received a free smoke detector.
