POLICING TEAM NEWS: The Blaenavon Neighbourhood Policing Team have arranged for the next "PACT (Partnerships and Communities Together) meeting to be held on Wednesday, April 9, 7pm, at Blaenavon Workmen's Hall.

PACT meetings provide a good opportunity for you to make your views count, and to ensure that issues that matter to you are dealt with effectively by police and partners.

Do go along to this meeting if you have a problem that the Partner-ship can deal with, whether it be a police issue, a problem that Torfaen county borough council or Blaen-avon town council could help resolve, or a problem that is particular to your neighbourhood.

The public priorities chosen at the last PACT meeting on January 16 were: 1. Youth disorder in Hillside Avenue and removal of the bus shelter.

2. Youth disorder at High Street bus shelter.

3. Parking at Co-op, HSBC bank and New William Street.

There will be an update on progress of these issues at PACT on April 9, and a chance for any member of the public to comment.

Please support PACT in order to make this community partnership successful.
