SHOPPERS donated 222kg of food and gave £222 to Ebbw Vale food bank earlier this month.
The 1st Ebbw Vale scouts helped with the collection at the Morrisons store.
So far this year the food bank has collected two tonnes of food which has helped to feed more than 160 local residents.
