Care Home: The residents of Craig y Trwyn Care Home, Brynawel are holding their Christmas Party on the 29th for all their families and friends.

This year was a busy time for activities manager Steve Adams, who organised lots of entertainments an things to do for the residents. Steve says he has already started bookings things for the beginning of next year.

He has a presentation by Zoolab' coming back to do another display with animals in January and a Harpist who will be performing in February.

Christmas Morning Service 10.30am Community Church, Maindee Road, Cwmfelinfach Wednesday, December 19, at 5.30pm, the children of the Craft Club will be presenting their Children's Carol Concert.

Sunday, December 23, at 6pm, there will be a Candlelit Carol Service.

At 11pm on Christmas Eve the young people from Victory Outreach will be joining the congregation and will give testimony and play the tubular bells.

Poker Evening Launch: For those who fancy a flutter, the Ynysddu Rugby Club is holding a poker evening Sunday, December 16.

The poker starts at 7pm but the club opens at 2pm - everybody is welcome, just turn up.
