A NEW Gwent motor show was launched with the help of Joe Calzaghe's underwear model girlfriend yesterday.
Jamie Lewis, the face of the first Wales Motor Show, was accompanied by Welsh rugby player Mike Phillips.
The show is the first annual Welsh car show and will take place at Chepstow Race Course on August 26.
There will be stunt displays, rally cars, off-road buggies and a range of vehicles on show. It is being staged by a group of car events organisers and it is hoped that 10,000 people will attend.
It is expected that undefeated World Super Middleweight Boxing Champion Joe Calzaghe will be opening the show.
Admission will be £14 or £12 in advance, with under 16s paying £10 or £8 in advance.
