THE family of a motorcyclist who died in Newport on Thursday paid tribute to a “happy go lucky person.”
Twenty-year-old Liam James Gasson, of Hill Barn View, Portskewett, died after the motorcycle he was riding was involved in a collision on the A48 at Langstone at around 4pm.
The collision happened between the Coldra roundabout and the junction with Catsash Road. No other vehicles were involved.
Mr Gasson’s family described him as a well loved, happy go lucky person.
They said: "He had a very large circle of friends as he was able to make friends where ever he went.
"Everybody who knew him well would be aware of his passion for life and anything to do with Dragons and Harry Potter."
The family added they would like to thank everyone for all the help and support they have received during this tragic time.
