Swalec Cup ties postponed

THE weekend of Swalec Cup action has already been hit by the weather.
The round one encounters between Ebbw Vale and Newbridge at Eugene Cross Park and Blackwood and Pontypool at Glan-yr-Afon Park were postponed yesterday evening.
The latter has been rescheduled for next Friday and the Steelmen and 'Bridge are still discussing when to fit their tie into their fixture list, though they also look likely to plump for February 1.
