POWERHOUSE winger George North insists the Wales squad have found their self belief again after back-to-back triumphs away over France and Italy in the Six Nations.
The Scarlets flyer is adamant a return to winning ways was never in doubt, despite an eight-match losing streak that saw their tournament start with a 30-22 defeat in Cardiff.
“After the Ireland loss, we were on a massive downer but we stayed strong as a unit,” North said.
“It was a massive block of losses there, but we never felt we were in a terrible place. We stayed strong and together.”
He added: “When you win in France, the confidence goes up and I felt we played with more confidence on Saturday, we played with a bit more of a relaxed attitude.”
On the March 9 away clash with Scotland, who have enjoyed successive victories at Murrayfield over Italy and Ireland, North thinks Wales will have to be smart but will make it three victories out of three.
“If we play in the right areas and not try to play it from our own half and really force the pressure, I think we can come away with a win,” he said.
