The winners of MP Richard Harrington’s Challenge Cup competitions for art and literature received their prizes this week.
The winners were Sarah Munro for art and Bob Summers for literature. Both competitions attracted a high number of entries and Mr Harrington expressed genuine admiration for both.
As one of the judges, he had enjoyed reading the 34 "fantastic" blogs while the exhibition of competition art work in the foyer at Watford Museum, where the presentation took place, was, he said, as good as any professionally staged art show.
The winning work of art was chosen by visitors to the museum.
The Richard Harrington Challenge Cup competitions were organised for Watford Live! festival by Watford Area Arts Forum and Watford Writers and the art exhibition hosted by Watford Museum.
