NEWPORT County AFC have announced that the home match with Oxford United, which was postponed due to a waterlogged pitch at Rodney Parade on New Year's Day, will now be played on Tuesday, February 18.
A statement on the club website reads; "Following agreement with Oxford United and the Football League, Newport County AFC can confirm that the recently postponed Oxford United home game at Rodney Parade will now be played on Tuesday February 18th 2014 with a 7:45pm kick off.
"Tickets bought for the original date will be valid for the re-arranged fixture. Those people who are unable to attend the re-arranged fixture can obtain a refund via the Newport County AFC ticket office at Rodney Parade as and from Monday January 6th 2014 from 10:00am. No refunds will be available on match-day (Saturday January 4th 2014).
"Those County fans that cannot make the re-arranged Oxford United match and wish to attend another home Newport County AFC fixture at Rodney Parade will be able to exchange their ticket for another game. Exchanges can be taken place from Monday January 6th 2014."
