IT'S BACK to the bread and butter of the Principality Premiership for Cross Keys tomorrow when they attempt to avoid a banana skin at bottom club Neath.

Keys have enjoyed three titanic tussles with strong English sides in the British and Irish Cup in October, beating Bedford in a thriller and being edged out by both Doncaster and Cornish Pirates.

On Sunday they were hit by a pair of late scores in Penzance and were left feeling they didn't get the rub of the green with some decisions at the Mennaye Field after a 34-33 defeat.

But there's no time for licking their wounds and tomorrow they will have to be on their game to avoid becoming winless Neath's first scalp of the season.

"We've enjoyed three great games in the British and Irish Cup but it's back to the Premiership and the boys are raring to go," said team manager Mark Prangell.

"It was gutting to lose against the Pirates and it was a tough six-hour bus journey back but we know that we have to respond this weekend and training has been great.

"Neath will be up for this and there is no chance of us being complacent. We need to be on our game at the contact area, well-disciplined and go out there to play on the front foot."

Dorian Jones is back at fly-half for Keys and will be partnered by in-form scrum-half James Leadbeater.

Neath have not played a Premiership fixture for a month but used the British and Irish Cup period to play a pair of friendlies against Bridgend.

Their performances give the pointless Welsh All Blacks reason for optimism – they beat the Ravens 29-8 at the Gnoll before being beaten 13-5 at the Brewery Field.

- Keys have rearranged their home fixture with Cornish Pirates to avoid a clash with Wales versus South Africa. The crunch Pool Three game will now take place on Friday, November 28 (kick-off 7.45pm).
