SWINDON striker Miles Storey is staying at Rodney Parade for the rest of the season.
As revealed in yesterday's Argus Sport, the Exiles had been in discussions with Swindon about keeping the striker, who has been featuring more as a winger under boss Jimmy Dack.
The club confirmed the news today.
"Newport County AFC are pleased to announce that Swindon Town loanee Miles Storey has extended his stay with the club until the end of the season," they said.
"Miles has played five games for County in his first month spell and the extension will see him stay at the club until the last game of the season against Oxford United."
"Pending Football League approval Miles will be available for tomorrows clash at the Pirelli Stadium as County face Burton Albion."
