NEWPORT County AFC will start the 2016/17 Sky Bet League Two season against Mansfield Town at Rodney Parade on Saturday, August 6.

The Exiles then travel to Leyton Orient a week later on August 13, visit Luton Town three days after that, host Crewe Alexandra on August 20 and finish the month away to Hartlepool United.

County’s festive and new year programme features a trip to Crawley Town on December 17, a home game against Portsmouth on Boxing Day, the visit of Exeter City to Newport on December 31 and an away fixture against Wycombe Wanderers on January 2.

Warren Feeney’s men complete their season on May 6 when John Sheridan’s Notts County come to Rodney Parade – the reverse clash at Meadow Lane is on November 19.
