Magpies boss John Sheridan managed Rodman at Rodney Parade last season and Rodman says that was a big factor in his decision to turn down a new contract offer in Newport and move to Nottingham.
"I've worked with him before - he came in when we were having a bad spell at Newport last year and he turned the tide around," he told the Notts County club website.
"I know how he works, I know how he likes to play and what he wants from his players, and that was a big factor in me coming here."
Delighted to have signed for @Official_NCFC Thank you to @lpm_agents for doing the deal. Looking forward to a successful year!
