CELTIC champion Mitchell Buckland headlines the Sanigar Events 'Never Back Down' show at the Newport Centre on September 30.

The St Joseph’s fighter holds an impressive unblemished record so far and major domestic titles are on the horizon.

He is currently undefeated in 11 fights and aiming to emulate his brother Gary by winning a British title and with it the coveted Lonsdale Belt.

Elsewhere on the 12-fight bill, talented light-heavyweight Nathan Thorley steps up to six rounds as he works towards his dream of winning a title.

The Commonwealth Games medalist has adapted well to the pro ranks and is undefeated in five contests.

Fellow Cardiff boxer Wayne Brooks will make his ring return at heavyweight.

Undefeated in his last three fights, Brooks will be looking for a second shot at the Welsh title in 2017.

Cardiff light-middleweight JJ Evans boxes in Wales for the second time this year and is showing promise having not lost a single round in his two pro fights thus far.

Stylish Sonny Lee from Swansea is also boxing in the light-middleweight division and he makes his second appearance in the ring after a slick performance in his debut against Lewis van Poetsch.

Lightweight duo Gavin Gwynne and Kristian Touze, both winners in last month’s Merthyr Mayhem show, will look to keep the momentum going in their second pro fights.

The hugely popular Mason Jones from Pontypool will fight in Wales for the first time following on from an impressive debut in Bristol in July.

Kieron Harding, a Commonwealth bronze medalist at Delhi 2010, makes a return to the ring following an impressive debut win back in 2013.

And there will be three debutants on the show. Pierre Lima from Cardiff is hoping to make waves in the stacked Welsh light heavyweight division.

Dean Fortt, also of Cardiff, aims to get his pro career off to a winning start and cruiserweight Jonathan O'Kelly from Barry completes the professional line up.

Tickets cost £35 for unreserved seating or £50 and £60 for VIP ringside seats.

Under-16s accompanied by an adult can gain entry for £10.
