NEWPORT County AFC secretary Graham Bean has reportedly quit the club just three weeks after he was appointed.

Bean, who previously worked at Leeds United and for the Football Association, joined County to replace Lewis Richards as secretary in early November.

He oversaw Jon Parkin's loan move to York City on Wednedsay afternoon but is understood to have left the club later in the day.

BBC Wales is reporting Bean to have said that he "cannot work" with Exiles boss Graham Westley and that the pair's relationship had become "untenable."
