NEWPORT County manager Dean Holdsworth announced to fans this morning that central defender Paul Cochlin has re-joined the club from Bath City.

The move represents a change of heart by Holdsworth who released the player before the start of the season but if he receives clearance in time Cochlin is likely to feature against Basingstoke tomorrow afternoon.

Cochlin's arrival means Dan Harrison returns to Cinderford and Kris Leek heads to Clevedon, both on loan deals.

Just how much further does this farce have to run?? A manager who is nothing more than big empty talk, a team that is little more than a pub team running from Saturday to saturday with whoever's been signed in the week and a chairman and board seemingly devoid of moral integrity...wasn't Ian Hillier the captain who "wore his heart on his sleeve" according to Gaffer Deano??

All i hope is the lad cochlin has it written in his contract that if he breaks a leg laying his life on the line for the team that he still gets paid on the sick, unlike the previous captain of the team.Shame on county.

It makes you wonder whether Holdsworth is really a Muppet or Puppet? Oh and whilst we're talking about the Puppet Master the Oxford English Dictionary definition of 'Blight' is 'a thing that spoils or damages something' At least you can still rely upon the good old OED to give you an honest and accurate opinion!
