ON THE MEND: Enzo Calzaghe
LEGENDARY Gwent boxing trainer Enzo Calzaghe is recovering after an operation to cure a torn shoulder muscle.
The 63-year old Sardian, who trained his son Joe, picked up the injury doing pad work with his former figher Enzo Maccarinelli.
“I tore the muscle clean off the bone, but I didn’t notice until my wife Jackie pointed it out,” he said.
“It was very painful but hopefully it’s sorted now.”
