ST JOSEPH’S Boxing Club's European champion Joe Cordina makes his first appearance of 2016 for the British Lionhearts on Thursday when the USA Knockouts travel to London on Thursday in the World Series of Boxing.
The Lionhearts have won all three of their matches so far this season, including a 4-1 victory against the Knockouts in Miami in January.
Lightweight Cordina is joined in the British team by 2015 World Championship bronze medallist and 2014 Commonwealth Games champion Joe Joyce (super-heavyweight).
Last year’s European silver medallist Muhammad Ali (flyweight) and bronze medallist Joshua Buatsi (light-heavyweight) also feature.
Meanwhile, welterweight Cyrus Pattinson makes his debut for the Lionhearts at York Hall in Bethnal Green.
As well as the Knockouts, the unbeaten Lionhearts have beaten the Morocco Atlas Lions and Mexico Guerreros this season.
