DRAGONS fly-half Dorian Jones has joined Worcester Warriors on loan until the end of the season.

The 26-year-old from Abergavenny moves to the Aviva Premiership strugglers having made just six appearances for the Rodney Parade region so far this term.

In all, Jones has 66 Dragons games under his belt since a 2013 debut in the Anglo-Welsh Cup – he has scored a total of 208 points to date.

“This is a great opportunity for Dorian to get some regular rugby and we would like to wish him all the best for the remainder of the season,” said Dragons head coach Bernard Jackman.

Warriors director of rugby Alan Solomons added: “Dorian is an experienced fly-half and will give our squad much-needed depth in a key position as we prepare for some very important games between now and the end of the campaign.”

Jones, who has shone for Ebbw Vale in the Principality Premiership, said: “I am excited to be joining Warriors until the end of the season and will be working hard to make a good impression and help the side.”

Worcester sit one from bottom in the Premiership table, 10 points ahead of London Irish.
