JESS Fishlock toasted becoming the first Wales player to win a century of caps by scoring in a 3-1 win against Northern Ireland.

The 30-year-old became the first Welsh player, male or female, to make 100 international appearances when she took to the field in the friendly in Ystrad Mynach and celebrated the landmark occasion with a win.

Bristol City’s Georgia Evans scored from close range to take the lead at Caerphilly County Borough Centre for Sporting Excellence but Rachel Furness levelled with a penalty.

Seattle Reign midfielder Fishlock got Wales back in front in the 40th minute before Natasha Harding, of Liverpool, scored early in the second half.

The countries will meet again in Ystrad Mynach on Friday (kick-off 11am).
