GWENT football fans have been given the chance to celebrate Wales’ momentous Euro 2016 campaign later this year alongside national team boss Chris Coleman.

The Events Room is staging a celebration dinner at the Parkway Hotel & Spa in Cwmbran on Thursday, November 24 where supporters can revel in the summer’s achievements.

Playing in their first major finals in 58 years, Coleman led Wales to the last four before they bowed out of the tournament at the hands of eventual winners Portugal.

Wales had made the knockout stages after topping their group with wins over Slovakia and Russia.

They then saw off Northern Ireland in the round of 16 and came from behind to claim a stunning 3-1 victory against Belgium, the side ranked second in the world.

No Welsh fans will ever forget Ashley Williams’ equaliser, Hal Robson-Kanu’s brilliant individual goal or Sam Vokes’ header that sealed the triumph.

A parade around Cardiff followed on Wales’ return from France, with the streets of the capital packed with fans who came out to show their appreciation.

The black tie dinner will start at 7.30pm and include a two-course meal along with a review of Wales’ Euro 2016 campaign. There will also be a charitable raffle and auction.

Tables of 10 are available at £500 plus VAT and a number of individual covers on shared tables of 10 are also on offer from £50 plus VAT per person.

A limited number of platinum tables offering a prime location and selection of fine wine, are available for £800 plus VAT. Sponsorship opportunities are also available on request.
