A LAST-MINUTE winner from Chris Zebroski saw Newport County AFC take all three points against ten-man Dagenham & Redbridge.

Zebroski's far post header from Andy Sandell's cross won this dour match for the Exiles after Daggers captain Abu Ogogo was shown a red card on 80 minutes for a clash with Lee Minshull.

It was a first away goal for County since the win at Portsmouth in August and a second win on the road.

Justin Edinburgh's men are up to ninth in League Two, two points off the play-off places, but they were also thankful of another outstanding display from goalkeeper Joe Day - including a stunning fingertip save from substitute Jamie Cureton late on.

The only sour note for Edinburgh and his players was the news that Robbie Willmott's foot injury, sustained in last week's win over York City, could keep him out for up to five months.

A scan revealed the extent of the injury and the 24-year-old is to have an operation.

"Injury worse than first thought, out for five months" he tweeted.

County managr Justin Edinburgh said: "It's a huge blow for the football club and Robbie himself,

"He was in excellent form but that's football

"He's got to concentrate on the operation in about a week to 10 days' time once the swelling's gone down."
