THE fallout from the controversial match at Luton Town on August 16 continues with Newport County AFC manager Warren Feeney, the players and the club as a whole facing sanctions.

The news comes 24 hours after it was revealed that first team coach Sean McCarthy had received a one-match touchline ban for his conduct at Kenilworth Road.

The charges follow the Exiles' heated reaction to the award of a controversial stoppage-time penalty that gifted Luton a 2-1 win.

A club statement reads: "The club can confirm that further to the news of Sean McCarthy’s touchline suspension, an additional three misconduct charges have been received relating to our fixture against Luton Town.

"An additional charge of player misconduct has been accepted by the club, in relation to players surrounding the match officials in stoppage time and we await the outcome of a non-personal hearing from The FA.

"The club can also confirm a charge of multi-player misconduct, regarding to the six bookings picked up during the fixture has been received.

"This charge carries a £1,000 fine."
