County set for forward swoop

NEWPORT County will today look to clinch the signing of AFC Wimbledon attacker Christian Jolley on loan.

The winger or striker has featured regularly for the Dons this term and is a long-term target of County boss Justin Edinburgh, scoring seven times in 41 games last term.

The Exiles hope to complete the loan move for the former Kingstonian man this afternoon.

7 goals in 41 matches. Harris scored more than that in just a few games. forgive my apprehension but 7 out of 41 does'nt exactly set the world on fire. but who knows. I wish him well.

maybe not prolific but i not he is a winger too.

maybe a good move to provide some width and options up front for o connor, smith and crowe.

playing regular first team football for wimbledon so cannot be that bad.

but agree with larneman that HARRIS could be a vital loss

If he's a long term target of Justin's, then that's good enough for me - in Justin (and Jimmy) we trust. Welcome to the County Christian and good luck

does this mean ben swallow will be moving, he`s a very good winger, proved he can beat any defencive in our league, or does he want to get rid of all home grown talent. as previous commentor said harris as scored more goals in half the games. please explain the logic, as i`m quite bemused.
