Exiles announce Christian Jolley signing

NEWPORT County AFC have this afternoon announced the permanent signing of Christian Jolley from League Two side AFC Wimbledon for an undisclosed fee.

The 24-year-old, who scored five goals in five game during a loan spell with the Exiles before Christmas, signed for the club this afternoon and will travel with the squad for tomorrow's match at Lincoln City.

Manager Justin Edinburgh said: "It's a great signing for the club. We all know what he brings to the side and it shows the ambitions of the board of directors and the club. We have targeted two players and got them both in the last 24 hours."

We all know he won't score in every game but will certainly be an asset to the team and give us strength in depth. Lincoln city won't be a pushover they have been playing well against the big teams and caused many an upset so County will need to be up for it especially in defence.UP THE COUNTY a clean sheet would be very welcome too.
