Gateshead game finally re-arranged

NEWPORT County’s postponed clash at Gateshead has finally been given a new date... and venue.

In farcical scenes the Exiles didn’t know until 24 hours before last week’s scheduled clash where the contest would be played before it was postponed anyway.

It’s now been rearranged for Monday, March 11, with a kick-off of 7.45pm at Hartlepool United’s Victoria Park ground, only 52 hours after the Exiles travel to Ebbsfleet, in Kent.
